Nothing like the original (spoiler alert)because it is supposed to be a prequel and as a prequel you should keep the mother as a Jackal. There was no need to add an auntie for Damien nor a sister. There was no character build up and it was some what confusing. You couldn't tell what was really happening or what was hallucination. The experiment of bringing forth a son was stupid because the Devil is an entity and as an Entity he would make a son. It was all just annoying. It had no real connection to the original story. This Movie is to be watched one time and that's it.

It is a good movie with a cheesy feel. It was fun to watch, little bit on the gory side not too much jump scares though. All in all I like it 🤗
