I think it’s like he lives a life with no cares filled with color, because she’s doing everything and he just doesn’t care for anyone but himself. showing how people like that don’t have the awareness that someone is struggling or unhappy like he’s completely unaware of his behavior. I love Annie Murphy and I loved him on the musical, Shrek. Great casting!
