This movie is a mess. Weak character development (especially for the female leads), choppy scenes, boring rapid fire dialogue, too much emphasis on visuals. You walk away not caring about the main lead or the bomb. It's very confusing to follow and not worth sitting through. The whole story is better fit for a magazine article not a million dollar movie with a squad of talented actors.

What a boring summer movie. The plot was weak and the writing was uninspiring, lines like "meet the white widow on the orient express" made me roll my eyes. Way too much unnecessary dialogue about the "entity", the movie felt like a melodrama with a sprinkle of action. The only cool action scene was the car chase but even the actions scenes were very formulaic...guys fighting on top of a train, bridge blowing up in front of the train. The main villain was also miscast, he seemed too nice. The ending was one of the worst I've seen in an action movie, i get that it was a part one of a series but this movie is pure cash grab.

I'm still debating if this movie is sit throughable since I fell asleep twice. The whole movie seems to take place at night and there is nothing new here, same old characters & explosions with a weaker self conscious super hero. Other critiques: -Way too long. -The bad guys just seem annoying, wheres the joker when you need him to save a DC movie. -Lazy writing. I counted at least seven times that someone lazily stated "Jesus" as a response to a murder or something heinous. To save humanity, I wish Hollywood would stop making super hero movies. The are too formulaic and even a good director has to follow a formula, with little room for them to be creative. This movie is just another cash grab like the 95% of super hero movies out there.
