Films are art. That’s what this is. Guess what folks?… Not every storyline is going to have a happy go lucky ending like The Blindside. All the people stating this has bad writing/plot need to stick to Disney movies.
Blonde is a dreary, creative, and painful ride so buckle up. Just for the inventive cinematography blurring between her drugged stupor on a plane to thinking she’s in a movie studio and back I have to give major kudos.
For all the folks who keep claiming that this movie exploits Marilyn Monroe or women in general are way off base. Shocker here it was the 1950s and women including Marilyn were most certainly exploited and taken advantage of. Just because you’re seeing that portrayed doesn’t mean that’s the directors intent for the movie.
And for the love you’d think some of these haters are presuming Ana de Armas is claiming to be Marilyn Monroe in the flesh. I personally think she knocked it out. That’s as close as you’re going to get to Monroe without being Monroe. Bravo I say.
