As someone who truly loved the game, I can say they really tried to stay true to the source material. I'm seeing a lot of reviews of people whining about the lack of infected, or that there is not enough action. I am also seeing those who complain that some of it was to rushed. Well, all of you are correct to some degree or another. HBO had no idea how this series would be recieved. It stands to reason that they would not put in anything they thought we could live without for now. Making this show was a hell of an expensive endeavor for a show that could have completely flopped. I can understand why they may hold back a little to see how well it's recieved. Overall I think they did a fantastic job! However, truth be told, I am expecting for them to hold nothing back for season 2. Now that they see that it's a huge hit they have no reason to go no holds barred!! I'm sticking up for you HBO, so don't make a liar out of me. We all watched GOT, so we know your not afraid to spend money! Show all the skeptical people that season 1 was just a warm up. I'm giving 5 stars even though we all know it was 3 at best. So far your staying true to the game, but I would like to see you add all the little stuff that got left out. Don't be afraid to remind us that this is based on a survival game, not just a drama. Your on the right track, and I am expecting big things for season 2. Fyi, the casting was perfect!!
