This will be my mission from now on to give 1 star for any film or series on OTT platform, that has someone in it, who has the power to reach out to millions but has ZERO sense of social responsibility. Abhishek you have to agree that in spite of being a decent actor, if you were not AB's son, no one would have known you and you would have survived this long. While my comment is not against nepotism(we have to live with it), but it is against the hypocrisy and opportunistic attitude, where you cannot stand in solidarity for the dead who belonged to your industry just for your other agendas. You play with public emotions, beg for viewership, use your PR and despicable media to your advantage, but have no accountability towards the JANTA!! I am a Bollywood buff from my birth and this whole #SSR incident has left me sour. So I quit to give you any business, waste my time and money, and will actively rate negatively, anything in my power to protest against the horrible injustice. I don't want to contribute to the murky business of Bollywood! Shameful!! Amit Saadh Love you!! Audience you should be responsible with what you consume as entertainment!

I completely agree with reviewer Ashish Sharma. While Pak/India is technically culturally the same, after 75 years of independence and acrimony, however, I have my skepticism as to why the character was chosen as Pakistani rather than Indian. My 3 stars are for that. While all references, are very very Indian, starting from the bangle to Bollywood. Is there any specific reason why the household couldn't be an Indian Muslim one? Why use elements from India and portray a Pakistani character? However how a Marvel plot was adapted to a South Asian setting is commendable, also the partition part of it, though the premise couldn't explain the complexity of partition, a glimpse of it is a move in the right direction, the world needs to know what the imperial British Rule did to the Indian subcontinent is unfathomable, the ripples of which we still suffer and will continue to do so. Fawad is of course an added attraction, for those who know him.

I liked the show, but the climax was over the top, made it look every commercial, though the show throughout maintained its artistic bend. The maker as well as the writer has shown how our brains are primed for or against races and racism. However I feel the makers are not above their racial bias. They have a subtle sympathy for the black character of Mia and certain aggression against the white character Elena. If you are just trying to show racism as is, without judgement, it was an unfair depiction. At a personal level being privileged and white was not Elena's fault. And being a person of color or her life situations doesn't justify Mia's actions of stealing a child. She was wrong and selfish period! So I have no sympathy for her. If the races were reversed, makers wouldn't have dared to give any sympathy to a baby snatcher. Its a well made show but regardless its biased and unfair. BTW I am brown :)
