Beautiful album. Very evocative and grandiose which the film tries to be but isn’t. Some of the previous reviews are clearly from fans of the film, not fans of Vangelis. I’m a fan of the film yes but I’m also a fan of Vangelis. Blade Runner is not his best work - this album is full of sampling and original content which isn’t Vangelis. His best work IMO is Antarctica and his work with Jon Anderson. But Blade Runner is a master class nonetheless.
