Disappointing. I love Gladiator. Seen it 28 times. Gladiator 2 is a shadow of the first one. Bad casting. Plot and direction fuzzy to start with. No clarity of characters. No reason for Mum to die. Missed a trick by not getting Lucius to wear his dad’s helmet with his armour. Denzil Washington poor in his role. His American accent ruined portrayal for me. Bad as John Wayne as Ghengis Khan.
