The concept was intriguing enough and seeing that David Chang was behind it made me watch. It feels like "The Mole" meets "Chopped" but in the end, there's no reason for the chefs not to know each other's real identity. It also felt like the first half of the episodes were written/designed by one group and the second half was done by a brand new group who had barely seen the first half's plan. *Spoiler* The fact that the losing chefs continued to come back and ultimately decide who wins was the wrong move.
tl;dr: If there's no reason, in the end, to not know who each chef is, what's the point?
