Why do I watch this? Why do the producers feel the need to change nearly all of the historical facts? Why does it purport to be the story of the years leading up to the Battle of Hastings? As a fictional story without using real historical figures it would have been an acceptable drama. But it ended up a pile of tosh, a disgrace that the BBC should be ashamed of.

Confusing. Engaging. Atmospheric. I think I understand it, then I don't. Totally different. A story line running through the futuristic science, which is a sort of thriller. But with the futuristic layer added it is unique. Kept me coming back for the next episode.
