All in all, I could call a great effort at storytelling with lots of sensitive issues to deal with. However, I would not call it a great show mostly because of the done to death ending. Same crime of passion, vilifying gay characters, proving the same old notion that nothing "good" can come out of "such" relationships, etc. Kudos to the makers for including all the side stories, but could have done away with all the unnecessary characters...felt dragged out a bit.
