I haven't watched the Witcher series or read the books, so for me this was a stand-alone experience. I loved it! The storyline was comprehensive, the scenery was beautiful, and the characters were so interesting. I had tried to watch the Witcher series, but couldn't make it through the first episode, I thought it was flat and dull. Now that I've watched Origins, I might just give it another go.

I'm surprised to see negative reviews, because I loved it. I normally don't care much for action movies, but this one had me glued to the screen. I loved the scenery and the pacing, wow! And I learned a few things I didn't know about ice road trucking. I highly recommend it if you want something fast paced and interesting.

One of my favorite movies. The pacing is incredible, and the fight scenes are raw and so well choreographed.

First episode has a great ending - didn't see that one coming. Hopefully they can keep it up.

I just finished the first season. Sci Fi fans should not miss this one! It's top shelf stuff so far, in the same league as BSG.
