I sometimes wonder if some critics see the same movies that we do. I concur with Kevin Ford’s thorough review from three days ago. Frankly, my husband talked me into going to see Midway. I’m a bit of a history buff, so I decided I should go along and be a good sport. I’m glad I did. This film kept my attention and boosted my admiration for all service personnel that powered through the horrific experience of WWII. My father in law fought and came home weighing 85 pounds after a dismal stint in the Philippines. Every person over 13 should see this film to appreciate those who fought so we have our freedom today. I was pleased to see the short follow up of the actual lives of the characters portrayed following the end of Midway.
