If I were to think about the book and how the plot is in the book this movie did a pretty bad job at portraying it. BUT this isn’t supposed to be exactly like the book since that would just be a complete copy. But the whole movie and finding the pearls is so wrong and changes up the story so much. Also Annabeth is not supposed to fall for Percy. No matter how much I love romance that isn’t supposed to happen it messes up the plot to much. Also they made Grover girl crazy and not nerdy and scared. If you watch this movie and you don’t think about the book it’s pretty good. They didn’t include enough gods lore though. Also Poseidon isn’t striving to go back to his son in the first book and Zeus wasn’t really nice to Percy. - Emily (The soundtrack was good)
