Southeast Asian here, giving a review. Eh, it's ok. The plot, story, and characters are pretty run-of-the-mill, but the animation is enough to carry the movie. I also liked the character designs, especially for Raya, she looks cool with the cape and hat.
As for representation? Can't say for sure, didn't really care about that. Can't speak for other southeast Asians though.

I was really caught off guard by how heartwarming but, at the same time, heart-breaking this story was. At the end, I felt sad but, at the same time, happy for the Sparrow. A short but really (bitter)sweet read!
