Shoresy is such an incredible "feel good" series. I can't say I have ever screamed and cheered at my tv before (I do not watch sports) like I do with this show. It has pulled me back into Canadian childhood memories of collecting and trading hockey cards and knowing everything there was to know about players in the 60s and 70s. The show not only makes me laugh harder than I ever have, but it has brought me to tears, feeling the highs and lows and camaraderie of the team. I love the strength of it's female characters, which is often lacking from television. It's reminded me of my youthful days spent at the local hockey arena to the point of remembering the smell of the ice and the sound of the puck and players off the boards. A truly amazing representation of Canada that I am overjoyed to be reminded of. I wish the series was longer than 6 episodes. I am most definitely going to get myself back to the hockey stands thanks to this show. I have already rewatched episodes as I've introduced it to friends. I don't ever want this program to get cancelled, it would be devastating to lose.
