A masterpiece of psychological brilliance...the soundtrack is a minimalistic masterpiece. One of Scorsese's best... Leonardo is completely convincing and the wonderful cast is spot on. You might have to watch it more than once to catch all the stuff that goes on but it will be sooo worth it!

A masterpiece of storytelling...with charming animations and contemporary interviews with those who are Buddhists, this film is a joy to watch. Wonderful narration by Blair Brown and Richard Gere ; written directed and produced by David Grubin, its one of those "go to" pieces when you wish to learn about the man and his life ,the Buddha ,the enlightened one.

If you enjoy mystery, good science and great production...this series will not let you down. They have covered many subjects....you will get a new take on some interesting people and events from the past to the present. I always learn something I didn't know before....such as did you know VanGogh ate a tube of yellow paint while in a manic phase so he could experience the taste of the yellow light in Arlse?

One of the most moving stories of long love and loss between an old Korean couple. She is 89, he is 98 yet they are as sweet as young lovers ...married 76 years it is their final 18 months that we follow their final journey together as he becomes increasingly frail with pneumonia. I love the Korean custom of sending gifts to her already 6 dead of 12 children by burning the gifts of the dead children's pyjamas she has bought so they will have new clothes in heaven.When the death of one of their beloved dogs occurs she knows his death is not far behind and hopes they can go together but it is not to be...I cried at the sweetness of this documentary and even though sad it is a wonderful representation of true love and companionship between two devoted people

Although this film's "miserablism" might put others off...I thoroughly enjoyed this film. Ms Rampling is superb. As she descends into her lonely world ,watch for the very subtle clues the director gives for her situation. This film is packed full of symbolism of things that are faced alone , either due to your actions or someone else's.

Lots of action but an unbelievable series of events ... fairy tale ending for season 1. What cop has that kind of freedom and "good luck"? I thought there were big holes in the story. I was very disappointed in the ending
