No no no!
After the success and sombre brilliance of the first chapter, not only is this part a let down but a very boring stagnant one at that.
Way overlong for its contents. Minimal scares and ridiculous looking CGI.
The biggest problem however is the fact that it's a horror movie with a fantastic protagonist that barely makes an appearance. You'd expect in a near 3 hour film he'd be packed into every little nook. But no, we are left feeling deprived of this small pleasure.
It's not without its merits as the cast do a fine job, tho there is some miscasting and the author himself makes some great appearances.
Overall tho, a huge disappointment
