I give this show a one in order to average out the reviews. Donald Glover is getting way too much good will for this drab show with zero personality. The female lead is weighing this show down. I found myself thinking the whole time that Ali Wong would have been perfect for this. Hell I would have taken Constance Wu. Donald Glover seemed completely aware that he had to hold up every scene with her. What could have been an original look at the Evolution of a relationship was dragged into abyss by the lack of personality of the female lead. I am 3 episodes in and it has been an absolute chore. I promise if for some odd reason this show does a 180 I will delete this whole review and replace it with one lamenting on my stupidity. Update 2-11 somehow managed to make it pass episodes 3 which is the end of the boredom. I changed the rating to a 3 because this is what the show truly deserves. I have to say the female lead gets better as the show moves forward but still seems to be the weak point in almost every scene. This show does succeed at showing us an in depth look at the upside and down of relationship of two emotionally damaged people and their journey of healing to love each other. It's worth it but the question is do you have the strength to make it through the first 3 episodes...Good luck

This is a bad movie. Plain and simple. Even when you shut your mind off and just try to enjoy the ride it still fails. Bay's style does not work well at all when trying to tell a cohesive story. Bay still doesnt understand the importance of building characters. Every actor in this film had their talent wasted. This movie wanted to be good but, unfortunately the editing and lack the directors ability to care about anything other than explosions brings this film all the way down to the depths of hell.
