Seeing Jon Favreau's half-baked ugly and emotionally dead attempt at recreating this film has only made me love it more. The original Lion King was a movie truly made with lots of passion for the arts by the people involved.

This show is near perfect. The characters all go through some form of development. It's chock full of humor, and the animation is wondrous, almost indistinguishable from anime. 10/10 would watch again
