jesus am i watching sketch comedy or is kristen stewart actually trying to act? stewart’s diana is so cloyingly fragile and campily played that instead of having any sympathy for her you end up realizing how annoying she might have been to her in-laws. EVERY single scene is stewart going overboard with the affect and the lost puppy eyes and the muffled anxiety attacks. the only impression left of diana spencer is that she had the durability of an egg shell.
