Interestingly portrayed down home story of love, loss, failure, determination, and triumph. This would not make me want to read the book…Nothing out of the ordinary- these scenarios happen all the time. Same day… same times.. different person. New day. New times.. new people. Life impacts people differently. Simplistic storyline about family…Glenn Close is a phenomenal actress- she made it worth watching. The kid who portrayed him was also great. BTW-the older actor was too handsome to play the real-life pie-faced politician who thinks people without kids don’t represent America in all its glory…
