The starting may be sad but the ending is brilliantly done

Okay. The movie was decent but when you compare it to one of the most beloved classics of all times (Home Alone) with it's awesome actors, story lines and joke - it may feel a bit trash... In my opinion, the movie was not as original as it should have, but again, there another 5 movies with a similar storyline so you can only do so much. I felt like the fact that it was more "modernized" and that the "villians" weren't "villians" was very creative. But this came at the cost in which the damage inflicted was a bit overexaggerated... In the end, it was a decent film, i would rate it a 3 stars but to counteract the multitudes of "1s", I desperately wanted to rate it a 5.
