Some good ideas for a horror movie. Just didn't pan out. Characters made illogical decisions and there was extremely disjointed communication between a mother and son living together with just each other in a completely new (and huge) home... No backstory to the killer's motives and trajectory. Several unnecessary characters thrown into the mix with no results from their inclusion. Very disappointing ending as well ... also, the finger breaking seemed to have been added for horror sake and not as any sort of plot necessity. Made the killer seem very disjointed as well... a contradictive trait to a seemingly super-patient nemesis. Could have been a LOT better, but made too many wrong turns to maintain credibility and believability...
