This film will go down in history as a classic. As someone who studied about Tanhaji’s valour during history lessons in school, I looked forward to viewing this film to see if justice had been done to the name of this legendary Maratha warrior. And for me it is a 10/10, the makers have done a damn real good job. Though slightly dramatised to add the human element it leaves you in high spirits. Ajay, Kajol, Sharad and especially Saif as the antagonist has shone in their roles. The VFX graphics are on par with what comes out of Hollywood. The music score is great with the Shankara Re Shankara being my personal favourite. The fight scenes are excellent and especially the one in the climax left me with goosebumps all over my arms. Tanhaji should be on everyone’s ‘must watch’ list, believe me you’ll come out of the theatre with your chest thumping with patriotic fervour.
