Surprisingly deep and pushed a good societal message. Something I definitely would not expect from a Barbie movie for it to be pretty 'real'. The plot is pretty generic all things considered, but I got a lot of laughs out of the movie and the message was definitely very well conveyed. Its a well made, well rounded experience. There are some parts of the film where i would say there were elements of unused potential but I don't think they impact the movie enough to really negatively impact the movie experience much, just your typical movie filler. Good film. It was fun and the design of 'Barbieland' was very well done. Definitely feels like a dollhouse turned to real life.
