it was a bit rushed. they had a lot of information to cram in there a lot of names and a lot of places and it was all just nonstop action without any context.
i know what im looking at and i know the difference when something is thrown together and rushed and i literally couldnt believe my eyes that JJ Abrams had actually thrown that together in its current state. it was like 2 or 3 episodes crammed in one without any editing.
there were parts of the movie that seemed far fetched even from a sci-fi point of view. aka the scene where someone just happened to be there at the end to talk with rey on tattooine. they tried to make things come together full circle and it did if you count referring to stuff that happened 7 minutes ago aka when people would refer to a motto or slogan defined moments earlier. i guess everything else came full circle too but still. i did like the usage of red 5 which had actually tricked me in the last jedi to think luke had arrived in it.
omg hey look a puppy! see this is my proof i can write the next starwars movie.
i liked the movie but as i said to my mom it was very modern (like the avengers movies) and very able to give someone a headache who walked in with no headache. i was squirming in my chair i saw people checking their phones. but i only paid $6 i guess i got $7 worth of a movie.
there were good moments i mean they even brought Carrie Fisher back to life and she looked human and the scene with c3po’s eyes turning red that was immortal. epic movie i mean you can show it to kids and leave it on to babysit them. its just when people require the storytelling aspect and everything i guess im just all about movies with one concise lightsaber battle one carchase and a story you can just sink into. i did cry a couple times like when rey used force energy to heal others. they did try to recreate the 80s to some degree to combine like goonies with e.t. and everything but where was baby yoda?
you know why baby yoda wasnt in there because most viewers think the mandalorian is boba fett and that he saved yoda when yoda was a baby.
this is why nothing really matters. its all just eye candy. no harm done.
