Definitely my favorite anime series, in fact I'm on my 5th time watching it, it's that good! Now don't get me wrong, the original FMA anime was good, but I feel like it was rushed and it really didn't have the best ending. However, FMAB has a solid story that follows the manga and has some of the most memorable characters and plot in all of anime. It had plenty of twists and turns, lots of scenes that'll make you cry, lots of action, and some comedy sprinkled in as well to balance it all out. My favorite characters are Ling Yao/Greed, Kimblee, Havoc, Hawkeye, and of course Maes Hughes. I highly recommend the series to people who are new to anime, or are looking for another anime to watch. 10/10, 5 stars out of 5.
