I just want to thank Kathleen for writing a book which talks about self harm in such an accurate way. I read it withing 48 hours of purchasing it. In hopes of not sounding melodramatic, girl in pieces saved my life and taught me valuable lessons about not hiding my scars along with the feeling of no one wants damaged goods which isn't true. If it wasn't for this book, I would've tried again and again. I believe this book should be mandatory for highschool teachers and mature students to read as its funking angelic.
