8 hours in on the ps4 pro and so far it's an incredible game. A few glitches but nothing game ending. Combat seems smooth and gunplay enjoyable. Melee isn't as smooth but still fun. The driving could use a few tweaks with control and camera views but it's still passable and doesn't take away from the experience. When it comes to the story so far it's both compelling and action packed(haven't met Keanu yet lol). Night City itself is a living and vibrantly futuristic city with an abundance of things to do and people to see. Good voice acting and decent character animation all around. As mentioned in the beginning there's been a few glitches but so far nothing major and no game stopping errors as I've been experiencing regularly with AC Valhalla. There is minor clip in, especially at higher speeds in your vehicle but so far on the pro the frame rate seems stable at 30 fps. I give it a 4 out of 5 but with future patches that properly address a few issues I can easily see this being a 5 star game and likely already plays like one on the newest generation consoles and PC's .(update, after 11 hours of play had first error)

Simply put it's my favorite Assassins Creed to date. Have they created something new and astounding? No, but the ac formula works perfectly with the viking/Britain era story. The story is immersive and each character unique despite the brutal setting. Sure there are things that could be improved and of course a game this long will eventually become somewhat repetitive but I found myself wanting more right to the end and I really hope they come out with some amazing dlc. I give a 4 out of 5 because although it's not new or groundbreaking it's still a solid enjoyable title that would be the perfect swan song for this generation of Assassins Creed.
