Not for beginners. It may be helpful to intermediate artist, but for those novices out there I would stay away.
The first 30 pages are really dense with information but it is not organized in any meaningful way and does not really point out what you should be practicing. Maybe with an an art teacher and some structured assignments this book may come in handy but as standalone reading material I found it overwhelming and confusing.
