“The Town” is a versatile masterpiece that provokes genuine emotions throughout its delivery. This story illustrates the heartbreaking narrative of the other-side-of-the-tracks while delivering a justification and understandability to the less than palatable parts of a crime culture. Affleck shines through with his directing and acting abilities, always giving the very best. With clarity, it is quite certain Affleck put a lot of creativity and heart into this work of art while building the character of Charlestown. This is the place and the people that protect and have enough love and trust in each other that, no matter what they never ask questions but instead simply ask, “Who’s truck are we going to take?” when questionable favors come into play. This movie does not disappoint; it allows a connection with the characters. A must see.
