This was simply a bit odd from start to finish. The acting was good enough considering what the actors had to work with.
From episode one, when the reasonably normal teacher started secretly ferrying her underage pupil around in her car searching for the source of the "HUM".....(would never happen), to the tactical firearms unit bursting through the patio door like a scene from Scarface and blowing away half the cast. Many of whom I'm sure felt it a blessed release. You sort of get to the point of no return with these types of dramas. That moment when you've endured so much of the nonsense that you feel you owe it to yourself to hang in there to the bitter end. I did this and am still wondering what the heck I've just watched!
