It’s a very very OK movie. The story is just blah!!! Music is on your face and too distracting most of the time. The direction and plot of the movie is just all over the place with no seeming link one scene after the other. Most of the acting is plain and boring. The only thing that stood out for me are the action set pieces - and those too are not quite innovative. Yes the action is fast paced and brisk. It has that exhilarating effect. But that’s about it. Nothing is good enough to capture your attention and it is surely not worth your time

It’s a deeply satisfying and a terrific read. The two (basic) layers of narrative is what works for the novel. The structure of the novel, the way it has been put down on paper - It makes you think and re-think what you just read a few sentences or pages back. There a lot of footnotes and references which add to the fun and makes you go back and forth once the narrative picks up. It’s a good patient read and it delivers a punch once the fun begins. And one more thing, I generally re-read novels, but this novel, I wont be re-reading it any time soon.
