This has to be one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Tried too hard to be sophisticated but came off as sad and silly. I’m sorry I wasted my time.

This was disappointing. There were too many potential plots left unexplored. No reason was ever given for the mother’s need to lead a double life. What led her to abandon her family and take up a new life elsewhere? Was she unhappy, was it the Alzheimer’s? Everyone seemed to live their lives in their own little bubbles without interacting with any other family members. I understand dysfunctional families, but this was taken to a different level. P.S. Loved the taxi driver.

One of the brightest, funniest, most brilliantly-written comedies to come down the BBC pike. Loved it!
