I love this show and think that Lester Holt is outstanding; however, the segment on tonight’s show about the resumption of elective surgery was factually incorrect and extremely biased. NBC should have consulted someone at the CDC regarding the resumption of elective surgeries rather than quote one surgeon who owns a surgery center. This orthopedic surgeon apparently sees orthopedic surgery as more important than plastic surgery. Would his answer be different if he didn’t own a surgery center?? Is all plastic surgery cosmetic or is there medically necessary plastic surgery like there is medically necessary orthopedic surgery?? NBC really failed tonight on this segment of the show. Very disappointing to say the least.
