Since the rally in Tulsa was announced, Chris Wallace and other media have railed against people attending due to health concerns. Today he and other media have pointed out that the rally didn't have the numbers that were touted.
When Ms Sanders from the Biden campaign proudly proclaimed that Mr. Biden is doing social media contacts with voters, Wallace just accepted that with no curiosity about how many events/voters and how often.
When Mercedes Schlapp was questioned by Wallace about the empty seats at the rally, he dismissed that some of the Trump supporters stayed away because of concerns about protesters and seemed less interested in her reciting numbers of how many from around the US watched the event on social media and on TV. Ok for Sanders to claim number of social media contacts for Biden, but he wasn't interesting in reports of Trump supporters on social media.
I think that as we have grown more comfortable with ZOOM meetings and live-streaming for work and church, that the large in-person rallies will be supplemented by supporters who can't travel to a rally or choose not to be in close contact with people they don't know. We still support him, just not present in the stadium.
