Her story is incredible. The author's devoted mother essentially raised her again after her major stroke. It proves that our brains are capable of re-growing. It isn't too science-y. I'm fascinated by the potential our brains hold.

Re-watched this in December 2020. I could hit "play" all over again. Redford and Fonda have a natural chemistry and Willie Nelson's music (and co-starring role) are spot-on. I got so wrapped up in the music and scenery and romance of the West. No swearing but tons of emotion. I haven't seen a great movie like this in a long time.
