Derivative. The fun for me is naming all the scenes from films this has ripped off: Star Wars, blade runner, Avatar, The Hobbitt, Game of thrones as they come up.

Great, method acting at its best, improv, ensemble, emotion, wit, pathos, drama, intensity, tour de force. Has it all. Highly recommend. Highly.

Yikes. Somebody watched the wire and decided to depict the black characters the same way, then saw GTA San Andreas and lifted the Franklin character and plonked it in this tripe, right down to the vest, shorts and oversized shoes. Lots of loud sex scenes, long, pointless, revealing nothing. Paper thin characters, and Ron Perlman-why? Plot lifted from Silicon Valley and Mr Robot which was actually referenced by one character, Homeland too with a pointless, blond, female, medicated CIA ‘black ops’ operative. There’s a difference between homage and plagiarism and this series doesn’t know it. You might enjoy it. I didn’t.
