It never took off, it was so disjointed and outside the apache attack on the settlers it was so boring, one dimensional and chaotic. The acting was weak and the movie never pulled you in. You are aware you're sitting in a theater desperately trying to be pulled into the story and yet it never came. Half the theater walked out at the 1.5 hour mark unable to waste another 1.5 hours of this garbage. It reminded me of his Water World debacle, Kevin Costner has lost his magic with this one!

Let me just say, I rarely write reviews but Keri Russell is absurd cast as a diplomat. She's built like a 10 year old boy, looks like she could still have braces on her teeth developing through puberty. She needs a bath, her hair is dirty and looks like she just came in from track practice, combine this with her terrible acting skills and you have no clue why anyone would rate this anything but laughable. This person would never be considered strong or polished enough to be an American Diplomat. She's beyond annoying, over acts, and when she's constantly taking off her shoes as though she's a young boy who prefers converse and a ball cap as she's attempting to pose for British Vogue, it becomes comedic. The dress they put this sprite in looks like she's playing dress up in her mommy's clothes. However, last straw came when her character beats her husband up and his rolling on the ground like on some out of control teenager in a gymnasium I was done. I've never hated someone in a role more. Might have been good, but she's annoyingly unbelievable and ruins any hope of this script being entertaining. Don't waste your time and her attempt at being tough will just hurt your ears with the F bomb and "Jesus Christ" being used repeatedly. Please make it stop and the person who recommended this is now fully discredited. I'm so over the woke casts and and the anti--woman and racist black narratives crammed down our throats.
