I read the book which was a true account of the author and the bears years together and that story was much more believable but not as melodramatic as this movie. Patrick Wayne, though, was enjoyable in the title role and the scenery spectacular. A pleasant film to past the time. Also, John Denver's song during the beginning credits was a big plus.
