Radio Rebel is more than a movie: it’s a movement. With a dynamic, subversive plot and a captivating, spellbinding cast, this movie was truly robbed of the countless Oscars it deserved, most namely Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, etc. It’s a timeless classic that brings tears to my eyes every time I think about it. One day I’ll show my children, and they’ll show their children, and so on and so forth. Not only has it taught me that Disney can make Communist centric movies (the call for revolution, red, bringing the students into a unified collective) it taught me that I can be anyone I want. I AM RADIO REBEL.
