Better than the film. Looks great, the cast does a good job with what they have, HOWEVER, the story is completely bodged. Crucial moments in the story are glossed over and used as throwaway lines, season 1 and 2 have been very clearly blurred together, the structuring is completely off. It's a disrespect to the story telling of the original series. They have the time there in each episode to make a very faithful adaptation, and it really looked like they were going to do that, but they failed miserably. After hearing a couple of things about it, I really tried going into it with fresh eyes, but that's really hard to do, especially when the thing I'm trying to forget is essentially a masterpiece in media. Really, really disappointing, and any true fan will feel the same way.
