I told my husband that trying to remake this Patrick Swayze movie was either brave or stupid. After watching it, I'd say stupid! This would have been better if it was just a new movie that didn't favor the Roadhouse original at all! Sorry, this just didn't do it for us. When any movie is re-made it needs to be as good or better than the original. Also, too many F bombs. So not necessary. Patrick would be rolling in the grave...

I don't understand how this show could have scored so high on rotten tomatoes. Ridiculous! This movie has humor, suspense, it's riveting and has excellent actors! I think the only thing that's needed right now is a little extra romance. Nothing else needs to change. I would be very disappointed if the Prodigal Son went off the air.
