Ahnaf Syndeed – Google

I decided to watch the movie after reading and loving the book. I must say the book had a way to make the story much more believable. It inundated me with a lot of emotions. But the movie was really disappointing. They made the first part look like a teenage drama & rushed the 2nd part which is the part the books placed more focus on. They also made a lot of small changes that personally ruined the experience for me.

The book had me so hooked that I binge-read it in a couple of hours, especially with that chapter-long sex scene. I would say that the story was indeed very simple and predictable. The author's word choices were kinda Millenial and unsophisticated for a neuroscientist. But of course, I'm not complaining, being a Gen-Z myself. I like how she kept it nice and simple. This book is a good choice if you are looking to get some high dose of dopamine release, partaking in activities better than scrolling TikTok.
