I know the main 3 are teens and it's not fair to comment on the acting yet, but this is a snooze fest. No action. Reading lines monotonously. Percy always confused. Annabeth always irritated. Grover is always helpless. And there is no chemistry between Percy and annabeth whatsoever. Or between Luke and Annabeth. The actors practice empty staring where intensity is required. I have to go back and read the books again to write over this terrible adaptation of PJO. And they may have ruined a childhood favourite in the name of inclusivity. Would it be okay to have Henry Cavill play Nelson Mandela? Blank faced teens reading out lines and NO action. Supremely disappointed.
