Five Stars, if there were ten, I'd go for it. This is my first Tana French book. I finished it yesterday and I already scored her novel "The Trespasser" for my next read.
I'm not a book snob but I adore great writing and Tana French is a born writer, in my opinion. She weaves! She weaves! She weaves a fine story, delicious in details and put me right there at the scene , I could sense the old house, the creaky floors.
A good writer floats you out of your own life into the world of others, it helps me cope with reality when I've good story like The Witch Elm stewing away in my noggin.
Thank you Tana French for writing!
