What I love about this show is that they have actors that are gay or bi play the roles they identify with. What happens then is magic, we don’t see someone “gay” and we see real people. We don’t see an over dramatized version of what homosexuality should look like. Plus, we don’t see this characters being overly sexualized, or overly promiscuous. They style they use to convey feeling and emotions is beautiful. The message this sends to viewers is being gay isn’t about sex, it’s about who we love, and the benefits of finding that life companion. It makes me incredibly happy to this.
