Nocturne is new, it’s good, and I’m very looking forward to the next season!!! Yes, there are some flaws with the pacing and unanswered questions. Yes, I dearly miss Sypha, Trevor, and Alucard. Their characters and dynamic! I loved their world, and I’d LOVE to see their story continued. But it’s so exciting to see what they can do with this new cast and setting! And I really appreciate how production value got even higher. Give them a chance to make you fall in love

I really liked this anime! And not just because of the non binary rep 💕. Many of the experiences, situations, and tragedies the characters encountered felt real enough that I could see them happening (or how certain skills would be useful following a natural disaster). I found myself pausing every so often to Google a situation or question that popped into my ahead. Of course, it’s an anime, it requires the usual suspension of disbelief to just enjoy the story they are trying to create. They’ll push the plot towards interesting or sensational scenarios they want to explore. If there was a part to this story I wasn’t a fan of, it would be the whole Cult Arc
