The show is fascinating. What I find most disturbing is the old fashioned and quite out of date dietary advice. For example a breakfast of cereal, toast, fruit and juice (God forbid!) is 100% carby sugar, which is ironic considering that hyper-insulinemia/insulin resistance is rampant is almost all fat people (certainly diabetics) and especially so for the obese. Professional dietitians are the most behind on our need for protein and fat, including saturated and need to catch up to the fact there is zero need for carbs. I know, bummer but true nonetheless. Just for the heck of it open your minds and start with a movie called Carb Loaded.
